In the module configuration I cannot change the images directory. There are only three folders in the dropdown:
images
-- cache
----remote
but I have many more directories and as I need to sliders I need to different folders for the slider.
What can I do?

If you want choose images directory. Please go to content -> Media.
Then create a folder picture.

We've checked your problem on the local. This problem may be due to sever your authorization. We have set a different extension number it has the same problem, (We also tested the field of Joomla default, it also has the same problem)

But all the folders have the same rights and owners. I just double checked.
And I have the some problem on the live-server - the one you have access is the development server.
These two server have different hosting companies.
