This is a beautiful complete slideshow (Videos and responsive on top of it) - Bravo

This is, to my liking, the best slideshow in the JED —Simple and extremely powerful

My questions:
1— can you control the color/opacity of the caption

2— Can you replace the text in the readmore button with something else than a repeat of the Title, something more conventional like “Read More...” (and be able to change that for other language ex. “Lire la suite...”
—having a repeat of the title acting as readmore is confusing

3— Do you have other transition effect that we see on the demo

A good choice of transition are of primary importance to give the slideshow a tempo and style that will fit the message.
As example : The effect actually in the demo is clean and peaceful and will be perfect for a conservative business but will seem boring compare to the cool transition you get on the web for a site with energetic contents like sports, young, music or simply needing more punch and energy in their message.

Only one suggestion:
Having the onboard joomla editor (JCE or whatever) available for the content of the caption — This is really important as content editors have rarely any html knowledge making this beautiful work lot less accessible to the average content creator and editors/administrator.

Thank you,
This slideshow's developed a little too rush, so there's some problem.

My answer:
1— can you control the color/opacity of the caption
-> we're planning on develop the next version soon, it'll add more control to the caption text. We'll think of adding onboard joomla editor too.

2— Can you replace the text in the readmore button with something else than a repeat of the Title, something more conventional like “Read More...” (and be able to change that for other language ex. “Lire la suite...”
—having a repeat of the title acting as readmore is confusing
-> yes, we missed this one, this'll be fixed soon

3— Do you have other transition effect that we see on the demo
-> adding transition effect is a difficult choice, because we can't add all the effect at one time. Can you suggest the effect you need most, we'll add effect base on suggestion from customer.

Cool, I can’t wait for the new version.

For the transition. I don’t know how it’s implemented on your slideshow, my guess is that you separate the caption transition from the image transition...
I don’t think that the caption transition is really important.

As I was saying the Ken Burn actual transition is perfect for a more conservative, professional type of site (I will class the Fade effect the same way)

I will go for a transition with more punch and dynamism, maybe Curtains (slices), mosaic, something like that...

Now the choice of transitions will fit quiet, low key professionals sites or more dynamic presentation that need energy.

Awesome extension!

I agree with Chacapamac's comments/suggestions.

In addition, could you add a setting to allow the slideshow to run continuously (or have I missed something)?

BTW, when is the next version expected to be released, and will we be notified automatically?

Great work guys !

Thank you for your generous compliments.

I'm not sure why you said this. Our slideshow default to run continuously. Doesn't it work on your site?

When release the new version, we'll try our best to let everyone know.

Thank you for your response.

No - the slideshow does not play continuously - it stays on the first slide, and I can't see why.
Please take a look at my home page at: www.aus4017.com , and also at a screenshot of my settings which is attached.
I must be missing a setting, or got one wrong.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,

John

Thank you for your response.
Regarding not being able to access the site or get the attachment, I got Don Lee on your Live Chat last night, not realizing that it was for Sales only.
He worked out that he couldn't access the site without a Proxy, as it is hosted in the USA, so that is probably the answer.
I'll open a ticket separately and provide you with temporary Admin access.
Thanks,

John
