Noo Merito background config on landin page layout

Hi. Im using the merito template and want to configure a site using the landing page layout on a pre existent joomla installation. I have installed the template, and uploaded the images of the quickstart package.
Also, I have created a custom HTML module as described on the theme documentation, but I cannot get to make the background appear.


Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.


What's missing? Where can I specify the module's bg?

Thanks a lot! Just two more questions.

1-How can I make the top menu to link to each of the sections of the landing? (section 1, 2, 3,4, contact)
2-How can I change the "send" button on the contact form?

2, You need to edit the following code in default.php
