Image captions not showing up

Happy to see now in the Background Slider that it is possible to add captions and links, however non of them are showing up. Anything I need to turn on/off to make them visible?

I have selected a folder of images in the Images Gallery. Ones the images are loaded I click on the "edit" button:



Once in the pop-up window I enter a caption and a link on my website that the image relates too:



save, and all looks good. However I was expecting that the entered caption and link would show up on the front-end of the website on that image. I does not.

Can it?
