Jumpy background

The Background slide show module now and then does not fade over into the next image. Instead it simply jumps right to it. Could this be fixed?

The background still jumps. All OS and all browsers.

Also Repeat Slideshow = NO doesn't work.

And this is what I found out so far:

When only one slide is repeated, ken burns effect transition jumps instead of transition between repeats.
When only one slide is active, to make ken burns effect stop instead of jump, it will not stop, it will move on and jump anyway.
When one image is duplicated/trippled by me, tramsition works between the three identical images, but, ONLY if Effect speed is set to 1000. If it is say 10000, it will jstart umping again.
