Insert background img instead of background colour

hi,
thanks for your great product.
i tested the extension a bit and tried to insert a background img on the first Level of the menu. I know how to Change the background colour in inactive and active mode.
I would like to have a background-Image instead of the Background colour, and by mouse over it should change to another background Image.

So I wrote in the advanced tab in "custom css":

     #jux_megamenucss3 # menu124 .tooltipjs jux_megamenucss3 {

background-image:url(Homepage/images/nav.png)!important;background-repeat:repeat-x;
width:100%; z-index:-100;

}

but unfortunately it doesnt work (the same by mouse over). It runs on XAMPP so I can't give you account informations.

Do you have any idea to solve this Problem?
