Facebook counter - Spans

Why does the facebook counter indicate the count as "Spans" not "Fans" or "Followers"

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your interest in our product and pls accept my deep apology for the late reply because I've just come back the office after two weekend days off.

As your wonder, it's just the name that our DEV created but we are so sorry for that wrong typing mistake. Hence, we corrected the mistake into "Fans" instead of "Spans" as before.
