Search engine not working on Home page

How can i make the search option work from the homepage ? It's only working from other menu's.

About your question search option work on homepage. I checked and it work now. However homepage don't have position to display component. So If you want to show search result you must assign template default for homepage
Step 1: Go to template manager->jux_galiana default
Step 2: tab assign page choose home.

Sadly this isn't the solution. When i assign the homepage to the default template the results are shown at the bottom of the page.

I think the correct assignment must be :
1. Assign only the homepage to template jux_galiana Homepage
2. Assign all other pages/menu items to jux_galiana default.
Then, when i make a search, automatically the template is switching because you leave the homepage and results are shown. For some strange reason this is not working.

The template at demo.joomlaux.com/templates/2015/galiana/ also isn't working correctly.

Some other suggestions ?

Found the solution !!!

I was comparing the url for the search at the homepage and a search at any other menu-item. At the homepage it was using ItemId=101 . With this ItemId it stays at the homepage. I changed the ItemId at the Search module to another menu item....
