Menu items don't appear over other frames

Hello.

We just bought the Megamenu for Hikashop and we're having some setup problems.

Firstly the menu items are hidden inside the position of the menu. We need it to go outside it's position 'zone'.

Secondly, none of the menu or items style work. I've tried to change colors and background but nothing happens.

The menu is on the left side.

Really need some help with this asap.

Thanks. I managed to find out what the problem was. There were some css values set to hidden in the template I was using. I'm not a developer so I can't say exactly what the problem was but I managed to fix it with some fiddling. Problem solved
