Cannot save changes using Hikashop megamenu?

Hi, The Hikashop mega menu is working ok and has been for some time, however I now need to make a few changes and the changes will not save causing a time out. Even closing the module without making any changes causes a time out? I have quite a large time allowance (5 mins) on the system so that is not the cause it has got to be something with the module?
