Hikashop Mega Menu - can't get the menu to display at all

Very frustrated by this..

I can't get the Hikashop mega menu to display at all on my site, I'm not even seeing the module title

Joomla 3.7.2
Hikashop Business 3.1.1

I also can't see how you could assign Joomla menu items to the menu - or does it only display Hikashop items?

I have tried other menu modules and they work fine in the same position

Hi Huyen,

I have sent login details and replied to your email about the security warning you are seeing. This is because the site is in development so I don't have an SSL certificate for that domain yet, it is using the ISP's certificate so it is safe to accept the certificate in your browser or just use http instead of https.

I Checked your backend, You still don't create category and product in Hikashop component,
I created 1 category and load our module, it displayed.

=> it displays in frontend

I had created a category and product but had created it at the root, your menu was looking for it in the product_category subcategory, so I understand that now.

How do I add other Joomla items to the menu, article categories etc, is that possible?

Megamenu for hikashop only support get category or product of hikashop component, not support get Joomla content

Oh, that's disappointing, the documentation gave the impression that you could.

I will have to find another solution.

1. Megamenu/ Css3 megamenu: support Joomla content ( get data from Joomla content) joomlaux.com/jux-extensions/mega-menu.html
2. Megamenu for hikashop: support Hikashop component ( get data from hikashop component)
3. Mega menu for k2: get data from k2 component
4. Megamenu for virtuemart: get data from Virtuemart component.
