Gallery wont sort items that are not loaded yet

I need the gallery to sort from all items when a filter is selected. Not just the ones loaded so far. For a gallery with 20+ images, this is extremely necessary or users will not find an item they are looking for with the sort feature. Making the sort feature look broken to a visitor. Please advise.

When you are viewing the gallery currently - if you click a filter tag that does not belong to any loaded gallery items, the gallery will be blank, even though there are items further down in the gallery with that tag. Do you understand this is a problem and makes the gallery look broken when a user click on such a tag?

It's not working 100% all the time but it is a little better because at least it shows something. I appreciate your time and help but this plugin has not been a positive experience.
