How do you add your own custom style and not modify the preset styles. I added a my own css file in the assets/css folder. I also added the css to the xml file and default.php file but it doesn't seem to be referencing the code.

Hi Icandy_webs

If you want to add 1 more css and it no effect to other styles and component, please follow these steps bellow:
Step 1: You go to file: default.xml ( source / component/com_jux_testimonial/views/testimonials/tmpl/default.xml)
add this code: <option value="style your file name">style your file name</option>
line 192
<field
name="select_style"
type="list"
size="30"
label="COM_JUX_TESTIMONIAL_SELECT_STYLE"
description="COM_JUX_TESTIMONIAL_SELECT_STYLE_DESC"
default="style1"
>
<option value="style1">Style1</option>
<option value="style2">Style2</option>
<option value="style3">Style3</option>
<option value="style4">Style4</option>
<option value="style5">Style5</option>
<option value="style6">Style6</option>
<option value="style7">Style7</option>
<option value="style8">Style8</option>
<option value="style9">Style9</option>
<option value="style10">Style10</option>
You add option
</field>
Step 2: component/com_jux_testimonial/views/testimonials/tmpl/default.php)
you serch :
case 'style10':
$document->addStyleSheet(JURI::root() . 'components/com_jux_testimonial/assets/css/disstyle/' . 'style10.css');
break;
You add: (line 93)
case 'style your file name':
$document->addStyleSheet(JURI::root() . 'components/com_jux_testimonial/assets/css/disstyle/' . 'style your file name.css');
break;
Step 3: create 1 file ccs (name style is the name of your file.css)
And inside you can style anything as you want.
You should read another style (style 1 - style 10) to know the standard class of the form.
Similarly for module, you also go to similar folder and add in those folder.
