How can I shorten month in date

When I display the forecast the dates are too close to each other. So how can I shorten / abbreviate the month (eg. Aug. or Sept.)? See demo page at - www.tvjsn.com/demo/about-us/weather-forecast.html

About your question with jux weather forecast you can replace month string by other string with following steps:
Step 1: Go to path {root}/language/en-GB/ then open file en-GB.mod_jux_weather_forecast.ini
Step 2:
Go to line 435 to 446 then translate month to other string you want.
