component css is altering page text

I've got the module assigned to a template module position

weather module is changing the default font/color:

Page with correct css:

Any suggestions?

This is the test page that the weather module is changing/affecting the css for the default font/color:

The css for the weather component looks specific for the module.
I've dug through the code and am not sure how it is changing my page css.

Please go to weather.css file(modules/mod_jux_weather_forecast/assets/css)
remove line 76
.skg-weather table tr td span, table tr td {
color: #fff;
font-size: 12px;
}
