html in items

Is there a simple way to get html code accepted into the items description area, like it can be in the menu description area. Maybe turn on an editor.

At the moment it is not possible to insert a line break code like: <br />

You only insert HTML code in Menu, where have "Toggle editor". In The item it only works with the text,

Hi wazdot,
Now description don't support as editor but You can insert HTML code in description area. However you must notice when you insert special quote you must have slashes before it.
