Kind friends,
first of all thank you for this I suppose to be a great piece of code...
I'll be happy to test and use it in my (under construction -
www.ganasport.eu
) e-commerce site. Joomla 3.4.8 + virtuemart 3.0.12.
The module has been correctly installed and published, but I have on frontend the message: This module can not work without the Virtuemart Component
and in the administration panel, any modification can't be saved.
I've re-oredered the categories in VM for a better display, but it seems no effect...
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Giancarlo Gigante,

Thanks!
Hi
I checked your problem. I see in com_virtuemart component. there is so much data (with 3600 products and 333 category). data so it makes the database can not be saved. empty if not used, please remove it.
That is the reason why the module could not be saved
Thanks!
HI, I can remove something, but anyway our e-commerce has a lot of products and categories . Wich is the limit?
I've understood about the saving process, but what about the publishing error? Is it related at the same "big DB" situation?
Thanks.
Deleting all the archived objects I have to manage more than 2400 items to sell. Is it possible by your module? How many categories max can I manage?
...Please, answer me as soon as possible, because if your reply is negative I have to look around for another solution.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your setting up...
I see that the module now saves the changes, but only if there are all the categories published(this is a big limit because I need some categories unpublished for other reasons). If I make some changes and then unpublish a category, the module resets to the original (not working) state.
Is this due to the big amount of data or is this an intrinsic limit?
Anyway, regardless of this, on frontend, in the module position, there always is "This module can not work without the Virtuemart Component"...
Thanks again for your attention.
SMALL UPDATE
OK, little solution...maybe I can turn around the "unpublishing" problem disabling the "item display" inside the MegaMenu and I should be anyway able to use my hacking mods...
(I know your time il precious, but if you can explain me the "unpublished category problem", I'm interested in it)
Thanks.
There still is the frontend problem. If you could put an helping hand on this...
Thank you.
